Abstract The silence phenomenon appeared in modern Arabic poetry significantly and many poets has applied it in their texts because they found it inspiring and implicative. This silence has become a subjective and implicative equivalent for the sound itself and an active means for expressing ideas and thoughts. One of the main poets who used this phenomenon technically is the modern poet Talal saeed Al-Joneibi. As surveying his poetry books we found it repeated alot in his poems. What significant is the engagement of silence to its opposite sound. This dual opposite makes a poetic style that materialize paradox in the level of expression and implication. We in this descriptive analytical study try to survey the manifestations of silence and its implications in Al-Joneibi's texts and to examine the interior secrets of this silent language and to discover the reasons behind this use and why the poet applied this technique to express his interior thoughts. We concluded that what significant is that the poet Talal Aljeneabi intended to use the silence phenomenon in his poetic experiment so that he can change the boring style of the expressions whose receiver need not much time to think of nor effort to explain. There's an emotional feeling and inspiring power in this phenomena that could not not be transmitted to the receiver dometimes by the ordinary language. To avoid babbling his poems are so short and compact in their implications that are delightful to Arabic taste.
