Abstract

Tetraaza[12]annulene derivatives have been attracted attention as important class of heterocyclic compounds for their biological and pharmaceutical applications. Also, these compounds can serve as a model for the study of porphyrins and Corinne rings in biological systems Because of their broad spectrum of applications in biology, and chemistry .the mentioned compounds have received a great deal of attention in connection with their synthesis. Therefore, this research project, aims to introduce a simple and efficient method for synthesis of some new derivatives of tetraaza[12]annulene using vinamidinium salts.
