Abstract

The Internet of Things (IoT) is a new concept of technology that in a short period of time, the world's largest companies have invested heavily in the development and application of various technologies in this field. The concept of IoT is to connect different devices to each other. One of the important issues in the Internet of Things is the existence of a suitable communication infrastructure for different objects to communicate with each other. Recently, various communication protocols have been proposed for this purpose. One of the most important of these protocols is the LoRaWAN communication protocol. The purpose of this project is to create radio coverage of 2nd district of Bushehr with the LoRaWAN protocol. For this purpose, based on the geographical characteristics of 2nd district of Bushehr, with the placement of three LoRaWAN gates in suitable locations, the whole region are covered by the network. The network is designed in such a way that it is possible to easily connect different sensors in the environment inside or outside the building. Of course, to connect indoor sensors to this network, indoor gateways based on LoRaWAN technology must be added to the network. Another part of the activities related to this project is the design and implementation of the Internet of Things platform. This platform is designed on the basis of open source platforms and is configured for use in the Internet of Things on the basis of LoRaWAN technology. Various data sent by this platform are received and analyzed and if necessary, the commands will be sent to the nodes in the network. In addition to LoRaWAN, this platform has the ability to manage data from various protocols such as GSM, GPRS, etc.
