As a modern design approach inspired by the innate connection between humans and nature, biophilic architecture seeks to enhance the mental and physical well-being of users. Incorporating elements such as natural light, plants, water, nature-inspired colors, and indigenous materials not only improves spatial quality but also addresses individuals' psychological needs. This study employs a descriptive-analytical method based on a review of scholarly literature to examine the role of biophilic architecture across different age groups.The results of the present study indicate that children benefit from interactive and sensory-stimulating environments for their cognitive and social development; adults experience reduced stress and improved mental performance in such spaces, while the elderly enjoy a sense of calm, a sense of belonging, and a higher quality of life due to easy access to nature. Overall, biophilic architecture can be considered an effective tool for enhancing the quality of life and psychosocial well-being of individuals across all age groups.
