The subject of this research is the study of the history of the Ports and Maritime Organization of Bushehr province in the Pahlavi period and its developments. In this research, the library method and review of field research reports have been used. The exercise of sovereignty over the coasts and ports in order to provide the necessary facilities for the expansion of maritime trade and coastal communications, as well as the collection of common fees and charges, is part of the duties of the Ports and Maritime Organization. Years before the establishment of the Maritime Ports Organization in Bushehr port, an office was established as a southern customs branch. This office had the duty to prevent the entry and export of smuggled goods through the southern sea routes while guarding the coasts of Iran, and in fact, the southern customs branch was in charge of port and maritime affairs. The city of Bushehr became very important in the late Qajar era, especially during the reign of Nasser al-Din Shah Qajar, and was in fact the most important port for the import and export of goods. Bushehr port in the first Pahlavi period, under special internal conditions and regions, gradually lost its former prosperity and lost its top position among the ports of the Persian Gulf. The quality of the decline of this port in the first Pahlavi period based on the press in three political, economic and social dimensions has been studied in this dissertation.
