The lands around mond river, located between the last mountains of the Zagros to the waters of the Persian Gulf, are called Mandestan .This area doesn,t differ much geographically from the surrounding areas in terms of climate ,soil type ,vegetation ,as similar as species diversity. Although the ethnic groups living in the villages along this river aren,t different in appearance from other ethenic groups in the neighboring areas, but there are differences in mood and behavior .These behavioral differences have made Mandestan known as an independent region for these several centuries . The present research shows the political , social , economical and cultural development of this eara and also shows the development in the Persian Gulf as well as Persian State in the Qajar and Pahlavi periods .The necessary data for this research has been provided in various ways , including library studies, field visits , interviews, and the use of different documents.
