Abstract

The knowledge of semantics is one of the most important topics in the analysis of words and interpretation of verses of the divine word as well as hadiths and narrations. The science of semantics has been considered by literary scholars today, which has had a great impact on the relationship between companionship and succession. Therefore, the word "will" is one of the most widely used Qur'anic words. This study examines the word "Will” and its derivatives in the Qur'an and the hadiths of early Islam. According to the semantics axis of companionship and succession, In the Arabic language for a lot of grief and sorrow that involves an evil and sorrowful act, and due to the widespread use of its meaning in the verses, it refers to the severe torment and consequences that lead to destruction. In the axis of succession, it has relative synonyms with words such as Woe to his mother, Loss, Curse, Murder, Repeal.. that It has relative synonyms, each of which, in a way, signifies horrible destruction and torment. The purpose of this study is to investigate the word "will" by descriptive-analytical study, terminological studies and analysis by word matching and substitution. Therefore, after choosing the central word of Will and its derivatives in the verses of the Qur'an and the hadiths, its meaning and addressees have been discussed and it can be said that this word in the Qur'an is based on the companionship axis with words such as angry…. key word : Will, Syntagmatic relationships, Paradigmatic relationships, Jahili Literature, Islamic Literature.
