Abstract

This research was done in two parts, the first part was induction of polyploidy in the native population of German chamomile plant in Jam region in the greenhouse located in the greenhouse of the Faculty of Agriculture and Natural Resources of the Persian Gulf University, Bushehr, in the 2018-2019 crop year. Based on the obtained results of Jam Chamomile population, it can be stated that increasing the concentration of colchicine increased polyploid plants and the traits of height, number of lateral branches, leaf length, leaf thickness, number of flowers, chlorophyll b and total chlorophyll. . And it showed a decreasing trend in relation to the characteristics of life percentage and leaf width. The result of the second study showed that the Bodgold genotype and the studied lines had the highest average among all traits, and the Jam genotype had the lowest average among the control genotypes for all traits.
