Divorce official statistics doesn’t completely show the failure of spouses in marriage, because the evidence points to an increase of another type of divorce called emotional divorce. Despite the importance and the need to review the structure of emotional divorce, most studies have been performed with self-made questionnaires and surveys that have been standardized on a small number of people. At first 680 questionnaires were distributed and 501 numbers were analyzed for exploratory factor analysis, and in the second stage 620 questionnaires were distributed and 500 questionnaires were analyzed for confirmatory factor analysis. Participants were selected by available sampling method. Result analysis method was correlation and factor analysis. Instruments included Enrich Fors questionnaire, Olson et al. questionnaire (1989), desire to divorce questionnaire by Roosevelt et al. (1986), and marriage instability questionnaire by Edwards et al. (1987). The results of exploratory factor analysis with varimax rotation and load factor higher than 30/0 and the Scree plot identified 9 factors (Criticism, silence and bias, emotional response, emotional involvement, power and resources, lack of depression and frustration, the third angle, limiting, sexual problems) as the main factors of emotional divorce. Then confirmatory factor analysis was performed on another sample and the results showed the model fitting and verification of obtained 9 agents. For concurrent validity of the questionnaire, correlation between desire to divorce questionnaire 0/702, and marriage instability questionnaire 0/667 was obtained, all of which were significant. Also discriminate validity of this questionnaire was obtained by questionnaires of Enrich Fors and Olson et al. (1989), which indicate its appropriate validity. In addition, converge
