Abstract

According to Standish Group's Chaos Report, only few software are completed successfully while a considerable part of them are failed or faced with challenges. The tailor-made softwares examined in this research. Lisrel was used in order to examine significant relation among variables If significance coefficients will be more than 1.9 and/or less than -1.9 , assumption of null will be rejected and hypothesis of one will be confirmed i.e. a significant relation. The output of Lisrel shows that all coefficients are significant. Results of estimation (or fitting of the model) show indices are appropriate relatively. Factor loading of research variables are more 0/3 showing that they had acceptable validity. As evident from path analysis, challenges of documentation quality with 28% has the most influential factor affecting challenges of maintenance.
