The study of the ecotourism value of recreation and tourism areas can be effective in anticipating needs and removing deficiencies and developing tourism in these areas. Therefore, the present study determines the willingness to pay visitors to the recreational and tourist area Taq Bostan in Kermanshah province and recreational value and calculation of its recreational value. For this mean, a total of 275 questionnaires were distributed to visitors of the region in summer 1395. The results show that the cost of travel and the family size variables have negative effect on the number of repeat trips to the forest park Taq-e Bostan while the effects of income and married variables are positive. Also, the results of estimations logit model in contingent valuation method and Poisson regression model in travel cost method showed that the overall average willingness to pay for recreational use of the area for each visit is 14,300 and 21,277 rial and annual recreational value of the area is between 27816.74 and 41388.59 million rial, respectively.
