Abstract

Specific phobia is a group of anxiety disorders that can lead to significant distress in social disorder and In case of not treating the mental stress resulting from extreme fear, it can cause psychosomatic diseases. Therefore, the purpose of the research Presently, investigating the effectiveness of desensitization treatment through eye movement and reprocessing on anxiety, positive mood and Negative, and emotional reactivity of students with specific morbid fears. Experimental research method with a preliminary design The test-post-test was with the control group. The statistical population of this research is 400 female secondary school students Saadabad region in the academic year of 1400, of which 176 people were suffering from animal phobia, among them 30 girls were suffering from Specific morbid fear towards animals randomly in the form of two experimental (15 people) and control (15 people) groups. were replaced Research tools include clinical interview based on DSM-5, specific phobia questionnaire (Fairbrother and Anthony, 2012), anxiety questionnaire (Beck, 1998), positive and negative mood questionnaire (PANAS), reactivity questionnaire Affective (Nock & Matthew, 2008), positive cognitive validity scale (Shapiro, 1991). After the pre-test, the group The experimental group underwent eye movement desensitization and reprocessing for 6 sessions The control remained on the waiting list. Then the subjects of both groups completed the post-test questionnaires. analysis The data showed that there is a significant difference between the average adjusted post-test scores of the experimental and control groups.
