Abstract

In this thesis, a new one parameter distribution with application in reliability is introduced. Statistical properties of this family are studied. The behavior of maximum likelihood estimator and other different estimators are studied. This model is fitted to two real data sets and compared with some well-known models. The numerical results show that this model provides better fit for these data sets.
