Abstract

Background: The present study has been conducted in the field of evaluating the performance of maintenance systems. Therefore, by identifying the antifragility components to evaluate and analyze the impact of these components on key performance evaluation indicators in the maintenance system of Zone 10 transmission Gas Company. Objective: The main objective of the present study is to improve the performance of the maintenance system of zone 10 of Iran gas Transmission Company using the antifragility approach. Methodology: The present study was conducted in a mixed manner. In the first part, the key performance evaluation indicators following the mission statement, strategy, and objectives of the region, ten gas transfer operations were identified by the fuzzy Delphi method. Then the antifragility components were identified by qualitative method analysis using Maxqda software. Among the antifragility components, the cases affecting the key indicators of maintenance performance were identified by the focal correlation method and using version 26 of SPSS statistical software. Finally, in a dynamic approach, using the dynamics of systems and the application of Vensim software, the effect of the antifragility approach on the key criteria for evaluating maintenance performance was simulated. The statistical population is the whole maintenance system of Iran Gas Transmission Company and the sample is all of the maintenance system of the Zone 10 of gas Transmission Company. A purposeful judgmental sampling method was used to identify net indices and 10 people were selected from among 20 organizational experts. Results: In the first part, 16 key indicators were identified to evaluate maintenance performance. In the qualitative section, 254 open codes, 18 organizing themes, and two comprehensive structural and behavioral codes were identified. The components of redundancy, learning, participation system, and reliability were the antifragility indicators that were identified a
