Background: This study was conducted in order to zoning flood risk and operational strategies to control it using GIS and remote sensing (Case study: Mond Protected Area). Aim: The main purpose of this study was flood zoning in the catchment area and protected area and also to provide management strategies to control flood damage and hazards. Methodology: The implementation stages of the research can be considered in three stages, the first stage includes flood zoning, the second stage includes data collection and the third stage includes the implementation of the HEC-RAS model.
