Abstract

With the discovery of oil, the development and expansion of industrial activities in the world became dependent on this source of energy. The discovery of oil and the development of oil facilities in Iran have always been important in order to provide income for the implementation of the country's economic development program and to provide the energy needed for economic and social activities. The issue of implementing economic and social reforms and having purposeful planning was first taken into consideration during the reign of Reza Shah. In the early years of Mohammad Reza Pahlavi's government, the deterioration of the country's economic situation led to the formation of advanced planning to improve the country's economic and social situation. These programs have been implemented since 1327 in the form of six construction development programs; which was implemented only until the fifth plan of civil development. Most of the budget for civil development programs was obtained from oil revenues. The first and second development plans of the country did not pay special attention to the aspects of education, but from the third to the fifth plan, special attention was paid to the education sector in the whole country. The problem of the current research is to investigate, analyze and explain the impact of oil revenues in construction programs on the education sector. The present research tries to answer this question by using the descriptive-analytical method, relying on archival and library documents; How has the income from the sale of oil in civil development programs affected the education sector? According to the findings of this research, the revenues from the sale of oil have been the largest source of funds for civil development programs, and a percentage of these revenues are spent on the development of education and training of people in different sectors, including the fight against illiteracy in all sections of the society, the development of kindergarten
