Abstract

In order to study and recognize a text, different knowledges are in hands, each of one, investigates and studies the text and understands the signs and meanings of that text from its viewpoints (aspect). One of these knowledges is the semantics, which divides and analyses the text into smaller parts. The non-specific noun (Nakareh) is one of the signs used in Arabic language to indicate different goals and purposes, and, the texture of the text plus the phrasal and the formal synonyms (word) being there, helps to understanding and discovering (recognizing) the specific indications of the non-specific nouns. While, the specific noun only indicates (specifies) its own predicate and has a very limited range in comparison to the non-specific noun. Semantics, in defining the meaning of the Holly text as well, is very important. So, we decided to use the knowledge of semantics to analyse indicatively the Baghareh soreh, which is the largest soreh in the Holly Quran, and has covered many subjects. This study shows that those non-specific nouns in this soreh which have standed in the main position of predicate, or predicate nominator, or as the non-essentionial parts of the sentence, indicates different meaning (definitions). Of which, indication of repetition and respetation has gathered the most share of the total indications of non-specific nouns. And, the lowest share of this kind of nouns which were studied in this soreh are as: specification, differentiation, minimization, and maximization which has been appeared in different verses, and the researchers have studied and discovered (recognized) those purposes (goals) by the viewpoint of these interpretetors whom have had rhetorical interpretation (of the Holly Quran).
