Abstract

pornographic sites and the effects that viewing sexual content has on human performance, as well as the extent of cultural differences in this field, such as the fact that Iran is a Muslim society where most people are religious. are Islam and religious orientation that can be considered as an influential factor in pornography addiction; Therefore, the research background regarding the impact of pornography addiction on various aspects of people's lives with the moderation of religious orientation has not been done in domestic and foreign studies. Aim: This research aimed to investigate the relationship between pornography addiction and academic performance, quality of relationships and sexual desires with the moderation of religious orientation and the ability to cognitively evaluate risky events among students. Methodology: The research method was predictive (structural equations). The statistical population of the research included all the students of Persian Gulf University in Bushehr in the academic year 1401-1402, among them 400 students were studied in an accessible way and questionnaires on pornography, academic performance, relationship quality, sexual desire, religious orientation and ability They completed the cognitive assessment of risky events from virtual links. Conclusions: Based on the results of the research, there is a significant relationship between the ability to cognitively evaluate risky events and sexual desires with the quality of relationships and academic performance, with the mediation of pornography; And these relationships are moderated by religious orientation.
