Abstract

The novel is a mental epic in which the author wants to depict the world in her own way. In addition‚ the concept of sociology of literature is one of the critical approaches that reached its peak in the twentieth century with the ideas of prominent theorists‚ according to them the structure of literary works is formed by the mental structure of social groups with in society. In this regard‚ one of the realist novels that checking the social structure of Iraq society in the twentieth century. (Ashar salawat lljased) the novel written by Wafa AbdulRazzaq is a famous Iraq poet and novelist. This research uses a descriptive analytical method to study and critique the sociology of (Ashar salawat lljased) the novel written by Wafa AbdulRezzaq and in fact its purpose is to explain the situation of women in Islamic societies‚ especially in Iraq. In this time‚ social issues such as poverty‚ oppression in Iraq society‚ the issues of marriag and divorce have been reflected many times. Research findings show that wafa AbdulRazzaq‚ reference to the psychological and social harms of women in Iraq society‚ the status of divorced women‚ identity‚ physical and mental abuse against women and other social and cultural disorders are clear images of events and characteristics of the social environment and shows the politics of Iraq. In this way‚ she has invaded the colonial countries with the spirit if national independence‚ justice and the good news of enlightenment.
