چکیده

Proper management of oil and gas reservoirs means adopting and implementing the best possible decisions that enable oil and gas exploitation companies to achieve predetermined goals and commitments regarding production. Deciding on the state of withdrawal from a reservoir and defining the production capacity of that forecast requires full knowledge of the detailed state of the reservoir, including the state of individual wells in the reservoir and the permitted production rate of the reservoir. On the other hand, the development of a hydrocarbon field through the drilling of new production wells requires complete information about the area, such as rock and fluid properties, the amount of hydrocarbons in place, etc. Therefore, a comprehensive atlas of field properties is needed, which includes different properties of a field in a desired spatial coordinate range. On the other hand, some properties of a field, such as fluid properties, are not constant and will vary over time due to their dependence on reservoir pressure, which is constantly changing with production from the reservoir. Therefore, the desired Atlas must have all the parameters related to a field in terms of spatial and time coordinates. One of the most useful and widely used methods for preparing a comprehensive Atlas of the properties of a field is the geostatistical method, which is divided into several different methods. By using this method, with the availability of various information from drilled wells, the information related to those properties can be estimated in unknown points and a comprehensive map related to different properties can be prepared according to spatial coordinates. In this work, while describing the methods and steps of preparing a comprehensive Atlas of the properties of a field using statistical methods, a sample of the atlas maps will be prepared using one of the mentioned methods.
