Objective: This research is about the design of an entrepreneurial ecosystem supporting small and medium-sized industrial businesses in Balkh Province, Afghanistan, with a pull approach.
Research Methodology: The current research is applied in terms of purpose and qualitative and quantitative in terms of data collection methods. The approach of exploratory research and its strategy are to extract elements and dimensions. The statistical population of this research consists of entrepreneurial experts familiar with Balkh Province. They were selected as samples by snowball sampling. The tool used to collect an interpretive, structured questionnaire was to identify the dimensions of each element through interviews with entrepreneur experts. MaxQDA software was used for the design model of the supportive entrepreneurial ecosystem, and MS Excel software was used for data analysis.
Findings and Conclusion: In the first step of the research, after reviewing the literature, 26 dimensions were identified. After adding 16 dimensions in the focus group meeting, finally the supporting entrepreneurship ecosystem consists of 42 dimensions in six elements of service support, financing support, infrastructural support (legal/physical), educational support, research and development and innovation, cultural and social support, market support, were classified and drawn.
