Introduction
Dr. Hossein Aliakbari Harehdasht is an Assistant Professor of English Literature at the department of English Language and Literature, Persian Gulf University, Bushehr, Iran. His research is centered broadly on the late 19th-early 20th century British drama, postmodern drama, modern and postmodern poetry, comparative literature (Persian and English literatures), and adaptation studies (mainly drama into film). The more specific focus of his studies is on identity, immigration literature, or gender. Dr. Aliakbari teaches several courses on drama and poetry including Basics of Drama, Classical and Renaissance Drama, 17th to 20th- Century Drama, Contemporary American and European Drama, A Survey of English Literature I & II (with a focus on English poetry starting from the old English period to the twentieth century) as well as Modern English Poetry. He is the author or co-author of several refereed journal articles mostly concentrated on Drama, Adaptation Study, and Comparative Literature (available at orcid.org, researchgate.org, academia.edu, mendeley.com, and scholar.google.com), and has published four volumes of poetry in Persian. He has also published poems and short stories and translations in literary magazines.
He has been the winner of 2017 International Poetry Competition organized by London Center for Interdisciplinary Research and Interdisciplinary Research Foundation. He is interested in international collaborative projects and is a member collaborator to the Research Group headed by Professor Dr. Gabriel Laguna Mariscal at the department of philosophy and Literature at Cordoba University, Spain.
