چکیده
در این تحقیق القاء تخم ریزی و اسپرم ریزی در ماهی اسکات سبز با استفاده از هورمون های Induced breeding of spotted scat (Scatophagus argus) was investigated using Ovaprim and LHRHa2 hormones under three salinity levels (10, 15 and 28 ppt). Brooders with an average weight of 110-310 g were collected from the ornamental fish farm located in the outskirts of Borazjan city. A total of 36 fishes (18 pair) were divided into 6 treatments and three replicates. Injection of two hormones (Ovaprim and LHRHa2) under three salinity levels (10, 15 and 28 ppt) were investigated. Ovaprim was injected intra-muscularly, 0.5 ml/kg b.w. in a single time and 10µg/kg b.w. of LHRHa2 in double injection within 24 h. Data about the latency period and fecundity were recorded. Results showed the ovulating rate of 0-100 %, with the highest rate (100%) for the LHRHa2 treatments. Fishes responded to ovaprim by increasing the size of oocyte and development at all three levels of salinity, but no ovulation or spawning was observed and their oocytes eventually reabsorbed. Absolute fecundity of 15, 120-37, 440 eggs was obtained. Latency period was from 30 to 32.30 hours. No fertilization was seen. The experiment generally indicate the possibility of using LHRHa2 and Ovaprim in 10, 15 and 28 ppt salinity for induced spawning of the spotted scat fish.
