چکیده

Khalil Hawi is one of poets of pioneer generation those who promised to try showing related issues of Arab countries through reflecting difficulties and disasters and symbol was one of their poem tool that Hawi like them considered it for best interpretation of trends and expressing concerns. Among most important characteristics of modern ode of Hawi, most of symbols and its relations in the same time is considered as literal work, because we observe many symbols in his ode and this thesis will try to investigate topics in chapter five as its ability from symbols divisions in the poem of Khalil Hawi and main references of symbols and its nature and culture. First chapter is about symbol, definitions, purposes, duties and general discussions and second chapter discusses about poet Hawi and his life and works in which present thesis considers some of them and third chapter considers to studying natural symbols and fourth chapter shows colored symbols although it is considered as natural symbols but this thesis considers it in an independent chapter because Khalil Hawi had special attention to colors and fifth chapter investigates human symbols. This thesis certainly tries by analytic methods for studying different symbols and natural symbols are among these symbols and has special place in poems of Khalil Hawi while occupied extensive range of his poetries and divided in several levels including time, animal and place symbols and also its implications are divided in two cases, positive verdure and life implications and negative drought and death implications. In general place symbols have implications on myths while they are implications on life and death. Among them the myths of Ba'l and Tamouz and Elaheh mah are well known to resurrection and death myths. Most of natural symbols in the poems of Khalil Hawi are dependent to colors. Time symbols such as night and day, morning and evening or an animal as butterfly, bats and peacock or poet uses colors while four colors
