Introduction
I, Shobeir Karami, am a faculty member at Persian Gulf University and a researcher specializing in agriculture, with a particular focus on agricultural extension and education, as well as studies related to climate crises and water resource management in semi-arid regions of Iran. I hold a Ph.D. and have a scientific background in topics such as the Water-Energy-Food Nexus, which provides a vital framework for the sustainable use of essential resources, especially in agricultural communities. My main research areas include studying the effects of climate change and water scarcity on the sustainability of rural communities in Iran, analyzing agricultural adaptation to climate change, and examining the role of new agricultural extension systems in empowering smallholder farmers. Additionally, I have conducted research on the application of meteorological information to reduce agricultural losses and on the economic and environmental assessment of using innovative technologies such as water treatment for intensive farming. My scientific works have been published in the form of research articles in key fields including agriculture, water resource management, and climate change adaptation.
