Abstract

The one-pot, three-component synthesis of spiroindoloquinazoline derivatives in good to excellent yields via the condensation reaction of tryptanthrin, CAH activated carbonyl compounds and malononitrile under solvent-free conditions in the presence of ammonium acetate is reported.
