Shadow Detection and Analysis play an important role in the interpretation of remote sensing images. In this paper, an approach is proposed to detect and remove shadow based on the shadow characteristics and in a color space close to the human eye system. The algorithm first maps RGB images It takes away the space into the HSV space and then takes on the components of brightness and saturation, and according to the characteristics of these two components, it is determined in the new space of the shadow sector, also by adapting the histogram and taking into account the nature of the environment surrounding the shadow areas of action Shadow removal is done.
