Abstract

In most statistical problems in applied fields, uncertainty is an important factor in research, and measuring uncertainty is also considered an important topic for researchers. Uncertainty is one of the most common phenomena in various fields of research that will make things unpredictable.It is very important for a researcher to provide ways to calculate and check this uncertainty.One of the most common measure for evaluating and measuring uncertainty is the entropy .In this thesis, Deng’s entropy and its new generalization are examined and its application . Finally ,by using this new entropy and accurately understanding its relationship with Shannon’s entropy , lets examine the importance of deng the study of Deng’s entropy in the classification problem.
