MyBackground: Iran has a partial advantage and high potential in fossil energy and natural resources. Furthermore, the economy dependency of the country on the income of natural resources leads to the use of natural resources more than their potential. Since the environment is one of the primary factors in the macro policies in the world and affects most of the other factors such as military, political, economic power. So the most important requisite for an economic activity is its concordance with the environment which is a natural and important asset. Accordingly, damaging environment means the loss of assets in a country which causes low quality in the services.
Aim:: Nowadays natural resources and energy are the main factors in the formation and progress of societies and having access to the various resources of energy is an indication of economic potential and power of a country. This study is done to indicate the importance of environment on all aspects of human life. The objective of the study is to examine the relationship between the emission of greenhouse gasses (e.g. carbon dioxide and Nitrogen dioxide), the amount of energy and natural resources Rent in Iran's economy and also seeks to find the significance of each variable in the emission of greenhouse gasses.
Methodology: regarding this, economists formulate some models to explain the function of the economy. These behavioral equations are whether calculated simultaneously or one equation which is called simultaneous equation model (Baltaji 2008). The population of the study is the whole Iran in the years of 1375-1393
Conclusions: according to the results of the study, the hypothesis which cites energy affects carbon dioxide positively is accepted and the significance of each variable on the emission of carbon dioxide is also calculated. considering the findings of the study, energy has a positive and significant effect on the emission of Carbon Dioxide and also the Rent of natural resources through a
