In this study, the crystalline Ca-ZSM-5 catalyst was synthesized with Nano-sized particles to improve the performance of catalyst for conversion of methanol to propylene. The catalyst was synthesized by hydrothermal method at 100 °C for 60 h under reflux. After synthesis, by impergnation of calcium metal onto the sample surface and subsequent , the catalyst was modified and then the sample properties such as crystallinity, surface area, pore volume, crystal size and morphology of the sample were analyzed using XRD, BET, EDX-SEM. Finally, the catalytic performance of the catalyst promoted by calcium in the reaction of methanol to propylene conversion was measured and compared to the basis nano sized H-ZSM-5 catalyst at various temperatures of 390, 440 and 490 °C and with WHSV = 8 and 4h-1.
