In this communication, the capability of the CPA(Cubic- plus-Association)equation of state(EoS)for modeling vapor–liquid and liquid–liquid equilibria of mixtures containing N-formylmorpholine(NFM), alkanes and aromatics in a wide temperature range isstudied.First, the CPA EoS parameters for NFM are obtained using vapor pressure and saturated liquid density data. Then, the liquid–liquid equilibrium of binary mixtures of NFM and alkane and later the vapor–liquid equilibrium for systems containing NFM and aromatics is investigated to determine the best parameters and association scheme. It is shown that the use of 4C association scheme for NFM yields satisfactory results.
