Abstract
Symbolism is one of the most prominent mechanisms of literary beauty, as the writer and poet use some of the vocabulary with symbolic significance in his text to create a special poetic space in order to activate the atmosphere between the text and the recipient. This is what we find in the folds of the texts of the Lebanese poet Abbas Baydoun, as he uses a mixture of literary symbols in order to add an interactive aesthetic from his lived and tangible reality to the recipient's mindset and understanding. This is what the research will work on through the descriptive analytical method among the texts of the poet Baydoun. This is what the results of the research have reached, as we see him in a period of time adhering to folkloric symbolism and using many of them to draw for the recipient the beauty of his expression indicating the reality of his society. We witness in other periods of his poetic text that he used mythological symbols due to their similarity to the reality of his description. The poet also touched on symbolic trends with an aesthetic status from nature, the environment and Arab culture, and this is what we will clarify in the folds of the study.
