New derivatives bis(1,4-diazepinium) were synthesized by reactions of symmetric and asymmetric 1,2-diamines with N,N'-(1,4-phenylenebis(3-(dimethylamino)prop-2-en-2-yl-1-ylidene))bis(N-methylmethanaminium)bis(perchlorate) in acetonitrile solvent. The ultraviolet spectral behavior of these compounds was examined in dimethyl sulfoxide (DMSO).
