Background And Aim: Organizations need to motivate employees and stimulate their sense of enthusiasm. In general, enthusiastic employees are fascinated completely by their jobs and fulfill their job duties in a satisfactory manner. Employees who are more enthusiastic about their work, see their work more meaningful, more satisfying and inspiring, and devote themselves to their job and are concerned that this will lead to higher job performance. If managers be able to actualize their employees' potential power, organizations' performance will improve.This study aimed to investigate factors affecting employees work engagement in Ports and Maritime administration of Bushehr City.
Methodology: As for the research objective, the present study can be classified as an “applied research” while as for data gathering, it can be classified as a “descriptive” study. The data gathering tool was a questionnaire. To analyze data, SPSS19 software, and PLS SMART software is used. Conclusions: Results showed that among the studied variables, compatibility, emotional stability, experience, Core Self-evaluation and Job charactaristic, transformational leadership style, Career Development opportunities and job satisfaction have a significant and positive effect on employees work engagement, and extroversion, conscientiousness, organizational justice and humor of managers do not have a significant effect on employees work engagement.
