Abstract

Background: In conditions where fish are exposed to heavy metals, they change some other physiological and biochemical parameters of the blood (Cicik & Engin, 2005; Sweety et al., 2007). The presence of heavy metals imposes additional stress on the fish, which leads to other physiological changes in the fish (Sweety et al., 2007). The Asian bass migrates between freshwater and seawater throughout its life cycle and is a species of Euryhaline. In this research, fish are exposed to a certain amount of cadmium chloride and then exposed to different salinities. Aim: The effect of salinity stress on biochemical factors and liver enzymes, liver muscle and tissue and blood hematology in Asian cassava poisoned with cadmium chloride. Methodology: This experiment was performed in the Aquatic Research Station of the Persian Gulf Research Institute located in the Persian Gulf University of Bushehr. Prior to testing, 300 liter tanks were washed with detergent and disinfected and filtered with filtered seawater. 140 pieces of Sibus juveniles were adapted to laboratory conditions and concentrate food for 30 days before the start of the experiment. During this period, the salinity of seawater was reduced by 5 ppm every day to adapt to salinities of 40, 30 and 20. Before starting the treatment, the fish were exposed to a specific concentration of 10 ppm of cadmium chloride monohydride (cdcl.h2o). For this test, 1.8 g of cadmium chloride was placed in 180 liters of seawater for 24 hours in The solution was retained and then transferred to a tank, each containing 10 pieces of Asian seabass and an average initial weight of 90 grams. Experiments consisting of 4 treatments and three replications including control group with 30 salinity, treatment with salinity 40, treatment with salinity 30, treatment with salinity of 20 fish were divided. The duration of the experiment was 30 days. Conclusions: This experiment was performed in the Aquatic Research Station of the Persian Gulf Research Ins
