This thesis aims at proposing at novel algorithm for image inpainting. Image inpainting is an interpolationproblem for which an inpainting domain is reconstructed by using the information of beighbouring pixels. The basis of the method is diffusion
of meadian of surrounding pixels into dameged domain. In used diffusion, the diffusion equation is used which is a parabolic equation having smoothing property. So using deffusion equation for inpainting causes the blurring of inpainted image. While
using diffusion of meadian overcomes this drawback. After required introductions, the method is described indetails. Several examples reveal the effectiveness of the method.
