Abstract

One of the characteristics of Khorasani Sufism that distinguishes it from other types of Sufism is its connection with social life and issues surrounding it. Among the subjects that can be pondered and investigated in Khorasani Sufism is the issue of politics. Despite accepting the ruling political theory, which was actually the Sunni caliphate system, Khorasani Sufism was not very satisfied with the practical way of politicians. For this purpose, on the one hand, they tried to negate and modify the existing system, and on the other hand, they achieved the establishment of alternative values. The main political activity of Sufis is in three forms of verb (action); thought; and language can be examined and the title "political language" is a comprehensive title for them. According to the studies, the most deviation from the norms and political behavior of Sofia is in the field of thought and then practical behavior. It is clear that the examination and analysis of the Sufi texts from the perspective of sociology and political theories can reveal aspects of these texts that were previously hidden in the sacred veils.
