Abstract

The occurrence of climate hazards is one of the most important environmental crises in the world, which has many negative effects on human, plant and animal health and causes irreparable damage. There are different types of weather hazards that occur in different geographical areas in relation to geographical conditions with significant differences. Thunderstorms are one of these climatic hazards. The purpose of this study is to model thunderstorms in the southwestern region of the country using the WRF numerical model, the temporal reconstruction of these storms along with the analysis of atmospheric atmospheric conditions at the time of these storms. From a synoptic point of view, environmental research method has been the basis of research. The data used in this study include station data, data reviewed by the US National Center for Environmental Prediction with a resolution of 2.2 degrees over a 24-year statistical period from 1994 to 2018, and data .... To model the WRF model. Data from the four-time ECMWF database with a 1-degree spatial separation were also used to dynamically and thermodynamically analyze thunderstorms. The results of validation on the output of WRF model showed that configurations 8, 1 and 2 (Table 1) based on all three statistical tests have the lowest error rate to simulate precipitation, temperature and wind parameters, respectively. In fact, to simulate the mentioned parameters, cumulus schemes, boundary layer, surface layer and surface (soil) are the most important schemas. The final result of the analysis of WRF model output maps (instability index, precipitation maps and ground level map) shows that atmospheric systems entered the region the day before and caused instability and atmospheric disturbances in the region. With the intensification of ascent movements on the representative day, it leads to rain and the appearance of thunderstorms in some areas. The peak of precipitation is in the early hours of the representative day and o
