Background: Considering the importance of optimization and energy efficiency in society and the importance that policymakers have for the most part for economic, technical, cultural and social , climatic (environmental) and energy consumption management factors, in the present study, we have tried to Analyze the phenomenon of energy efficiency in the residential sector (accounting for over 40% of the country's energy consumption).
Purpose(Aim): The main objective of this research is to confirm the role of economic factors and social-cultural factors , climatic (environmental), technical factors and demand side management factors in improving the efficiency of energy consumption in the residential sector.
Methodology: The present research is an applied research in terms of the purpose and a descriptive and survey research in terms of collecting data. Data were collected through a questionnaire. The statistical population of this research is 1950 executives and experts of Fars Regional Electricity Company(FREC). To describe the data of the questionnaire, SPSS23 software was used to analyze, analyze and model the structural equations modeling with the second partial power minimization approach using SMART PLS software.
Findings: Five factors (economic, social-cultural, climatic, technical, and demand-side management) were considered as factors affecting the efficiency of electric energy in the residential sector. By performing a confirmatory factor analysis and then testing the hypothesis of these validated factors, They confirmed.
Conclusion: The results of the model's research using SmartPLS software show that the technical factors with a 0.911 path coefficient have the greatest impact on improving energy efficiency in the residential sector. After the components of the technical factor, the social -cultural factors, demand side management factors, economic factors and climatic factors respectively, with a path coefficient of 0.895, 0.876, 0.694 and 0.456, had the gr
