Background: Living in a healthy and clean environment is one of the most important human needs. Therefore, in most societies, environmental issues are of particular importance. One of the most important environmental issues is the collection and sanitary disposal of municipal waste. Comprehensive waste management is a system that manages waste flow, waste collection and processing and disposal methods in interaction with each other; In such a way that the desired environmental, economic and social goals are achieved in a specific area.Aim: write about the objective(s) of the research. The purpose of this study is to design a multi-objective model to optimize the urban waste management process with a robust fuzzy approach.
Methodology: In order to achieve the research goal, two general phases have been considered for this research. In the first part of this research, the location, allocation of waste transfer stations as well as the management of the generated waste inventory and the optimal routing from the existing reservoirs to the transfer stations in the waste collection network of Bushehr have been studied. Therefore, in this section, first, the types of costs in the waste collection network are examined according to the indicators proposed in scientific studies, as well as interviews with experts. In the next step, two minimization goal functions were modeled to reduce costs as well as determine the optimal path using a robust approach. Also, the weight of each objective function is determined for 20 scenarios using a fuzzy-intuitive approach. Also, at the end of the first part of this research, the colonial competition algorithm and the genetic algorithm have been used to solve the problem.
In the second part of this research and considering the output of the first stage, the reverse supply chain model is designed by considering the components of sustainability, the status of the waste collection network in Bushehr is studied. In the new approach of this rese
