Background: Companies today face changes in their environment to adjust and adapt their actions and strategies quickly and flexibly, as organizational agility has become an important competency that can have profound effects on the performance of companies. One of the areas where information technology capability has a fundamental impact is human resource management and organizational agility. Finally, information technology capability requires knowledge and techniques that enable companies to create a set of technology resources.
Aim: The main purpose of this research is to investigate the impact of information technology capabilities and organizational agility on human resource management in manufacturing companies in Kabul.
Methodology: in terms of purpose this research is in applied category, and as per the nature of data it is quantitative with an inductive approach. Th instrument used for data collection was a questionnaire with a 5-point Likert scale. The statistical population this research is (39 manufacturing companies of Kabul city), from which 130 valid questionnaires were collected. The validity of the questionnaire was verified through convergent validity and discriminant validity. The reliability of the questionnaire was tested through Cronbach's alpha and composite reliability, which obtained a suitable value. Spss26 and SmartPLS3.2.8 software were used for data analysis.
Conclusions: The results of the study indicate that the ability of information technology has had the greatest impact on human resource management. Moreover, it is shown that human resource management has had a significant impact on organizational agility. Also, information technology capability has significant effect on organizational agility. As a result, the manufacturing companies of Kabul city speed and performance can be improved through capability of information technology on human resource management and organizational agility.
