چکیده

Tomato fruit worm (Helicoverpa armigera Hubner) is one of the most important tomato pests with damage in Iran ranging from 20 to 25 percent and in outbreaks of 70 to 75 percent . In this study, the effects of 4 different compounds were studied at different levels including, salicylic acid (SA) (0.5 and 1.5 mM), jasmonic acid (JA) (50 and 100 mM), abamectin (750 and 1500 mg/l). (A), Chloropyrifos (1250 and 2500 mg/l) and control on the resistance of 5 tomato cultivars was studied based on a factorial experiment in a randomized complete block design with three replications at the research farm of the Faculty of agriculture and Natural Resources of the Persian Gulf university. Morphological traits including yield, single fruit weight, Number of flowers per cluster, number of fruits per cluster, plant height, leaflet area, leaflet number per leaf, leaf length, fruit length and diameter, single plant yield, fruit firmness and chlorophyll index, phenological traits including number of days to flowering, number of days to fruit formation, number of days to physiological maturity, phytochemical traits including chlorophyll a, chlorophyll b, predominant acid content (TA), total soluble solids content (TSS), vitamin C and traits related to the resistance evaluation to the fruitworm including the number of type VI glandular trichomes, the amount of leaf phenol, total leaf number, number of larvae per plant, percentage of leaf damage and percentage of fruit examined damage was evaluated and measured
