Abstract

Background: The successful design of the supply chain network requires many decisions about the flow of information, products, and financial resources, which are examined at strategic, tactical, and operational levels in organizations. Therefore, examining the humanitarian cold supply chain in conditions of uncertainty can be the solution to problems in different situations of crisis and adversity. Aim: The purpose of this research is to design a humanitarian cold supply chain model under conditions of uncertainty. Methodology: This research is of applied and developmental type. To build the initial model, the opinions of academic advisors and experts were used, and to estimate the parameters of the research, the information available in related organizations such as Red Crescent, Crisis Management, etc. was used. To solve the model, GAMS software and coding with simplex solver (CPLEX) have been used. Findings: The findings of the research showed that the deviation of the worst answer and the best answer for both objective functions and the deviation of the worst answer and the average of the answers were small and the variance of the answers was acceptable. Finally, it was found that the mutation rate value of 0.05 and the initial population number of 100 was the best mutation rate value. Conclusions: The presence of distribution centers in suitable locations of the friendly cold supply chain network, which can adequately cover the demand created in these conditions, is very important in the successful conduct of rescue operations, and on the other hand, the weakness in choosing the appropriate location is likely It will increase the loss of capital and ultimately lead to many losses and injuries.
