Extensive studies have been conducted in the field of estimating the mean of a finite population using an auxiliary variable. In this research, first, the most important estimators in this regard are presented and some of their properties are examined. Then, taking into account the problem of non-response in the studied and auxiliary variables, the available estimators for the population average will be examined using auxiliary variable information. A family of two-parameter estimators, which includes many existing estimators as a special case, is introduced and the efficiency of estimators of this family is compared to other existing estimators. Finally, using this numerical study, the relative efficiency of this family is compared to other estimators in different situations.
