چکیده

In this thesis, at first experimental adsorption equilibria isotherms of pure carbon dioxide and methane measured onto two different of type silica gel (… and … ) from Parsian gas refinery were measured experimentally using a volumetric method at temperatures in the temperature range (273,283 and 343) K and the pressure range (0.0001 to 1) bar and correlated by several well-known isotherm models such as Langmuir, Freundlich, Langmuir-ferIn this thesis, at first experimental adsorption equilibria isotherms of pure carbon dioxide and methane measured onto two different of type silica gel (… and … ) from Parsian gas refinery were measured experimentally using a volumetric method at temperatures in the temperature range (273,283 and 343) K and the pressure range (0.0001 to 1) bar and correlated by several well-known isotherm models such as Langmuir, Freundlich, Langmuir-Freundlich and Toth models. The study of adsorption equilibrium data showed that both adsorbents have higher adsorption capacity for carbon dioxide than methane and the adsorption capacity increases by increasing pressure or decreasing temperature for both gases. The breakthrough curve measurements were prepared for a sample gas from unit 800 (Parsian gas refinery). The breakthrough curves of a four-component mixture (N2/CO2/CH4/H2O) in both adsorbents were measured at the temperature range (273,283 and 343) K, the constant pressure of 1 bar and constant flow rate of …. Regardless of breakthrough curves, N2 was the first breakthrough component Subsequently, Methane, Ethane, Propane, and CO2 came out of the column. The last breakthrough time is related to water, which has come out the column with a long delay. This shows both adsorbents have a high adsorption capacity for water absorption.
