Processing of remote sensing images is vital in
geosciences. Images that are obtained by different types of
sensors might be unrecognizable initially or would not
include useful information. To make a good visual perception
of images, a series of preprocessing for removing noises and
other corrections and to make a better analysis of main
processes are required at first. There are different types of
processing according to special remote sensing images. The
method that we are going to introduce in this paper is the use
of virtual colors to colorize the gray-scale images of satellite
sensors that enables us to have a better analysis of a sample
image which is taken by Landsat sensor. One of good
features of this method is the original image reversibility that
satisfies suitable resolution of output images. Some
applications of these images are in geosciences, surveying,
climate changes and etc.
