So far, the effect of changing the distance between the foundations, the effect of changing the height of the embankment and the effect of the distance of the foundation from the edge of the embankment in determining the bearing capacity of the adjacent foundations located on the embankment has not been considered. Also, not much research has been done on the bearing capacity of strip foundations on an embankment using the finite element method, and no analytical or numerical solution has been proposed to determine the bearing capacity of two adjacent foundations on an embankment. Therefore, the current research deals with the numerical discussion of the bearing capacity of the adjacent foundation on the embankment, and to solve the problem, the finite element limit analysis method was used.
