Abstract

In this study, two methods, one aerobic and the other anaerobic, have been described for the thioarylation of enaminones with thiols in the presence of sodium thiosulfate as a catalyst. In the aerobic method, the reaction is carried out in DMF solvent, and in the anaerobic method, in DMSO solvent.
