Dealing with Sufism and mysticism has always been one of the important and
fundamental issues of literature, culture and civilization of our society and the
Islamic world. Therefore, it is very important to pay attention to customs, the way
of Sufism and the ideas and thoughts of Sufis. It can be said that following the
customs and beliefs of Sufia correctly and paying attention to the meanings of the
clothes of Sufia makes people and followers able to go through the stages of the
journey to God. Among these beliefs and customs, attention was paid to the dress
of Sufis, which can be mentioned in their "Kherqeh" and "Moraqaeh", which were
very valuable in the eyes of the Sheikhs and elders of Sufi, and they were proud of
their wear and tear. In this research, we will examine these criticisms and by
studying and examining them, we will identify different angles of the purposes of
wearing this "Kherqeh" by Sufis. Then, in particular, we examine Sufi clothing in
the two books "Kashf ol-Mahjoub" and "Mesbah ol-Hedayeh". Also, we have
benefited from the reviews and opinions of other mystical books in the field of
Sufism in this regard. Examining samples, statistics and examples showed how
valuable this special cover was for the Sufis. So, in this research, we introduced the
"Moraqaeh" and its related conditions. We describe the criticisms that have been
made on the "Kherqeh". We will say about the goals and reasons of these criticisms:
Sufis, in order to keep away the true elements of Sufism and wearing a "Kherqeh"
from social harm, different groups and individuals, who pursued various goals by
wearing a "Kherqeh", criticized wearing a "Kherqeh" among They paid themselves
to show the right way in Sufism.
