Abstract

Background: In soilless cultivation, in addition to less pollution of water and soil, the nutrients required by the plant are provided to the roots in the form of absorbable minerals and with very precise control, so proper and balanced nutrition plays a major role in the production of plants. Nitrogen is one of the most important elements that affects the plant from various aspects, both vegetative and reproductive, and the most form of its absorption is in the form of nitrate and ammonium ions. Aim: This research was designed and carried out with the aim of investigating the effect of nitrogen form (different ratios of nitrate to ammonium) on growth indicators and high-use and low-use elements in Paryoosh and Rana Ziba flowers and in the NFT culture system. Methodology: Food solution with 50% Hoagland strength was considered and this food solution with six different levels of nitrate (NO3-) to ammonium (NH4+) ratio (100: 0 - 80: 20 - 60: 40 - 40: 60 - 20: 80 and 0: 100) was prepared and the growth of both mentioned flowers is evaluated with these nutrient solution treatments. Therefore, this experiment was conducted as a factorial with two factors, flowers (two types of flowers) and nutrient solution (six different ratios of nitrate to ammonium), including 12 treatments with 3 repetitions, and at the end of the growth period, all the vegetative indicators of the plant including: number of flowers, diameter Flower, plant height, stem diameter, stem length, number of lateral stems, leaf area, root length, root volume, fresh flower weight, dry flower weight, fresh plant weight, dry plant weight, fresh root weight, dry root weight and so on. The concentration of nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium, iron, zinc and manganese elements was measured. Conclusions: Examining the results showed that the combined use of nitrate and ammonium increased the growth and yield of plants compared to the use of each one alone. Regarding most of the traits, ammonium treatment with small am
